Thanks, Bob! It's a sawbench. I have two. This one has a holdfast hole and a planing stop with Benchcrafted hardware. I also use this room as my office, and trombone practice room.
Brian, a serious question: I'm flirting the idea of a small saw, and i was putting my money on a safe bet (gyorucho dozuky180mm) then i remember you're 'un aficionado' of dick (jokes apart) saws. As i can't go there to see it for myself. Can you share your thoughts about the saws?
Oh, man. You'll love this. A Dick saw is just a Gyochuko saw with their tool name on it. So, you get the brand saw you really want, and get to sate the juvenile inside as well.
This generally only makes sense if you have or are aware of one of the first LAP tshirts, which says, "Boring since 1678" on the back of it. I still have and wear this shirt often.
What was your witty and incisive reply?
ReplyDeleteHaha! There wasn't much I could say.
DeleteHa Ha, she was right :-)
ReplyDeleteI like your workbench, very minimalist.
Bob

DeleteYou should probably let her win at cribbage sometime.
ReplyDeleteHaha! Thanks, Jeff.
DeleteVery cool, you are really putting that saw bench to its limits! Coming back to Munich any time soon?
ReplyDeleteRudy
Hey, Rudy! It beats doing all my woodworking on the floor. You'll find you're new sawbench will be indispensable.
DeleteWe'll be back around Christmas.
Men should always have the last words...:
ReplyDelete- Yes dear!
:D:D
Haha! If she doesn't read my blog, then I get the last word!

Thaks mate!
DeleteThe correct reply, of course, is, "Since 1678!"
