It is fun. Plus, you never stop learning something about that game. If you like to play cards, it is a great two handed game, and three handed is really fun too. Four handed is possible, but a little ponderous in my opinion. I also like to play pinochle. I like that better as a 3 or 4 handed game, but prefer cribbage as a two handed game.Brian Evehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04252174035715635674noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5591297260116621731.post-5042564903700379692015-04-15T22:22:52.098+02:002015-04-15T22:22:52.098+02:00Perhaps I should try to find out how to play it. I guess making a cribbage board could be a really fine project to do with children, and if the rules aren't too difficult, they could play a game they have made themselves.
Brgds
JonasJonas Jensenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07787393233185454227noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5591297260116621731.post-70654552308172750832015-04-15T18:52:29.471+02:002015-04-15T18:52:29.471+02:00Hi Stefan,

Maybe you should really fix it as Jeremy proposed.
Cheers,
Stefan Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17569365598390231433noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5591297260116621731.post-46440903527791420312015-04-15T16:23:23.038+02:002015-04-15T16:23:23.038+02:00Perhaps there is a way to make a lanyard for the p...Perhaps there is a way to make a lanyard for the plug (perhaps inside the hole) so something similar doesn't happen to the end user with the next one.Jeremyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17028867150859768771noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5591297260116621731.post-8788085241401237852015-04-15T12:28:03.791+02:002015-04-15T12:28:03.791+02:00http://toolerable.blogspot.com/2013/11/building-pa...http://toolerable.blogspot.com/2013/11/building-panel-gauge-part-i.html
http://toolerable.blogspot.com/2013/11/panel-gauge-part-ii-beam-me-up-slideshow.html
http://toolerable.blogspot.com/2013/12/building-panel-gauge-part-iii.html

Hi Gerhard!

Thanks for the compliment. Believe it or not, the design turns out to be traditional. The three links above are my posts regarding it. That is, if I can find the right dowel in my shop!

I'm not so sure I'm crazy about the crack, either. I had briefly considered filling it with epoxy, but thought that it might be more trouble than it is worth. It' isn't too late to add somthing, I like the idea of inlay. Perhaps some contrasting wood.Brian Evehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04252174035715635674noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5591297260116621731.post-35427741132547103362015-04-15T11:10:24.243+02:002015-04-15T11:10:24.243+02:00Sorry to hear about the threaded plug. That's ...Sorry to hear about the threaded plug. That's a nice way to store the pegs. Have you thought about opening up the crack and turning it into a carved accent or a place for some inlay? Then it becomes a design opportunity instead of a flaw.ramblingroadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04929398807465995073noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5591297260116621731.post-67919622556728902792015-04-15T10:57:47.912+02:002015-04-15T10:57:47.912+02:00This comment has been removed by the author.ramblingroadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04929398807465995073noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5591297260116621731.post-34829817194472125182015-04-15T10:55:03.593+02:002015-04-15T10:55:03.593+02:00Hi Brian
